Refund Policy at the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy, Inc.
If a student fails to enter the program, withdraws or is dismissed prior to the completion of the program, refunds will be made according to the following refund policy:

In order to receive a refund, for any reason, the student/applicant must notify the school of their withdrawal in writing, via certified mail or in person. This correspondence must be directed to the Administrator or Director of Education and the student is also required to have an exit interview with the School Director. |
If a student elects to withdraw within 3 business days after making their application and tuition payment, they will receive a full refund of any tuition paid. |
If a student cancels or fails to enter school prior to the first class, a full refund will be granted. |
If a student withdraws within the first week of class, a full refund of tuition minus the cost of books ($500.00) will be granted. |
If the student withdraws after attendance has begun, but prior to 50% completion of the program, a pro rata refund (computed on the number of hours completed compared to the total program hours) minus the cost of books ($500.00) will be granted. |
If the student withdraws after completing 50% or more of the program, a refund will not be granted. |
The termination date for the purpose of computing a refund is the last date of attendance by the student unless the school receives earlier written notice. |
Refunds will be made within 30 days of termination as dated by receipt of the cancellation notice.
In the case of prolonged illness, accident, death in the family, or other mitigating circumstances that would make it impossible for the student to complete the course, the student and school will negotiate a reasonable settlement. The last date of actual attendance by the student will be considered the termination date unless the school receives earlier written notice. Refunds will be made directly to the student within thirty (30) business days of the termination date. |
In the unlikely event that a student's program session were cancelled, the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy, Inc. would offer the student a 100% refund.
